The hangars at our airport conceal a treasure trove of vintage aircraft. Several associations of enthusiasts maintain and keep in flying condition machines that would never have left the ground again, or would have been destroyed without the endeavors of men and women committed to preserving our aviation heritage.
Our latest aircraft is a twin-engine Grumman Tracker, the first carrier-borne aircraft built specifically for the US Navy’s autonomous anti-submarine warfare. It then flew for 45 years in the French Sécurité Civile against forest fires, in support of the famous Canadair.
